IMG_0804 I went to my first non-classical-music concert in a long time recently to see Duffy.  Classical music I like better live, most other things I like better on an iPod. (Seattle, WA)

Didn't know you were a huge Hillary Duff fan. . .

Tom! I recently discovered Duffy. I like "Mercy." (Oddly reminds me of "A little less conversation" by Elvis)

Tom, loving the pictures when I have a chance to get on here. I like this one of her - she almost looks like a translated being. :)
Duffy is great - I do like her music (on the iPod) as well. Looks like you had decent seats!

Egads, I didn't realize that the Winehouse train had such a long tail. Even has similar vocal inflections. I dunno -- I guess I'm kinda hard on these bands 'cause I like the original stuff so much. Generally speaking though the drummers don't do the rhythms right. They have a form of funkiness without the power thereof. Same goes for the soul bits as well. Ah well, at least they're trying.

A tidbit for the Silo forum folks?
Maybe a challenge to model it?

0-spacefighter-whole-edited Our quote unquote game (wii remotes and all) waits patiently to be played by all the gamers at the Venice Biennale. (Venice, IT)

Wait, you guys got into the venice biennial before John and I did? - no fair! :)
So how did your game get here?

Blogger Tom

I took a class at MIT that ended up with no instructor and 4 and a half people in it (John was not officially enrolled but came to class and helped) where we were supposed to make a game based on urban planning principles (supposedly run by Dutch architect Winny Maas). One dude kept on working on it for his PhD and has been taking it around :].
