Hey Tom! Glad to know you are keeping your blog alive. I am not as disciplined... especially since I found Facebook :). I know, it is not nearly so avant-garde as my actual blog is, but SO EASY to maintain. May I say I like the statuesque half-nudity of your pose in the "musical" scene?

I am going to see if I can change my identity name to "Shannon".

2007-11-24 024 The aftermath of our holiday rapping/music-making.  This years hits included some hard-core raps as well as a Thompson Twins reinterpretation.  Hopefully they'll be all mixed down within a few days.  (Cambridge, MA)

The new format looks sharp. Is that an acoustic guitar?

2007-11-22 030 This is my first I-cooked-it-myself turkey, after Dave, um, "carved" it.  It was actually pretty darn delicious. (Cambridge, MA)

That's terrifying. I hope you made good use of it by putting it on a stick and participated in the traditional Turkey Carcass Relay.

How are they doing? And why do they still have old stacking Eames chairs around? Money is theirs, they should flaunt it! (Actually, humility would be most attractive but I don't think humility is theirs at Harvard...)

Blogger mnlop

The name placards are particularly non-flaunty. And by the way, what are you learning here? Turf wars, ownership, speculative market gaps...hmmm.

I thought we decided NOT to trade Emily.

Don't all of you, like Katie, have a little Mom standing on your shoulder whispering in your ear?

Now that Sarah makes books, we'll start seeing hers on the shelves.

BTW, my comment double-posted, so I deleted one.

For the curious, we think this is the house Emily lived in one year. I always thought it was in the boonies 15 minutes from anything else, but you can see the library is right behind it. (Wellesley, MA)

That's it, you found it! Wellesley looks as great as ever --- thanks for the photos----

Blogger mnlop

One night we decided to have a barbecue, so we stole the lid off a trash can behind a nearby building and filled it with charcoal. Due to the statute of limitations I now dare to fess up. We also had no appreciation for the greatness of midcentury modern design and thus filled the living room with road signs and posters, and the kitchen windowsill was lined dutifully with beer bottles (not mine, not mine!).
