I think that's an amazing view! New York never ceases to impress me.

this photo is so hyper-real, at first I thought it was an illustration.

Next time I’m there I’ll try shooting this with CameraBag’s black and white filters for comparison, I’m mad I didn’t this time. This was taken with my small point-and-shoot. Speaking of cameras, the 5D is currently unalive and waiting to be mailed in for repairs, sad to say, so no SLR pics of New York for a few weeks. (New York, NY)

All the way from the spiral jetty to the spiral ramp, with a carom off the left coast . . .

Jeremy and Sara, seems like it's about time for a New York trip, yes?

Send your camera off to be repaired (just a reminder) and in the meantime would your iphone shoot the view out your window?

I agree with the last comment: I miss Seattle too (even though I was there just a week ago - I want to go back)!
I have fond 4th of July memories of that park. It looks so open in this picture! 4th of July it's cram packed!

Looking for a name for this new CameraBag filter. It simulates an effect called “bleach bypass” that’s often used in magazine spreads and fashion photo shoots. Suggestions? I'm thinking "Magazine" or "Fashion". The unaltered version is here. (Belmont, MA)

Some people never leave Boston. But who would? It's a wonderful place.

The Harbor Cruise is a tragedy that every LDS Single Adult has to experience at least once during their time in New York. Some people go because they think it will be fun. Others go because they have been snookered into it. Or they have nothing better to do and all their friends fell into the first two categories.
Enjoy your time in the city. I kinda miss it lately. A lot.
Who are you? Welcome.
Oops. Should have been more formal. This is Meredith from the Bellevue 8th Ward. I moved to NYC when you left for Boston. I found your blog while looking at Jonah's, and I couldn't help but comment about the Harbor Cruise. Oh yes, I've been on that. I'm now in Dubai.
Ah yes, I remember, nice to hear from you.
